While this is our third Christmas together, it is our first as an official family! I am nearly done with my Christmas shopping, and I wanted to share what we are getting Vivi and Lu this year. I normally struggle with what to gift kids, but this year it came together pretty quickly! We like to rotate our toys, so they always have something new and exciting to play with. I have been known to wrap up those toys they haven't played with in a few months but I'm not sure that will fly this year! I think Lu will totally know, so I stuck with Spidey for him, and tried and true Frozen for Vivi.
We have been limiting screen time, and the Tonie is the perfect alternative. If you are not familiar, they tell stories, sing songs and entertain without screens. It also makes for easy shopping for family, as each Tonie is sold separately and tells different stories.
Both have been very into legos lately, so we decided to spring for the table, in hopes it will limit the amount of legos we step on. May not work out in our favor, but we are going to give it a try!
Viv is obsessed with babies and being able to take care of them and this little baby and accessories will be perfect. She can feed her baby and change her diapers and I cannot wait to see her face when she opens this one!
Spidey is Lu's go to right now, and he has been begging for this little car. I hope he still loves it just as much on Christmas morning!
Water wow books are lifesavers are restaurants and on long car rides. If you're unfamiliar, you fill the pen with water and they color on the pages to reveal the colors. Once it dries, you can color all over again. And there is no mess other than the water from the pen!
Vivi is learning to write and Lu is learning sight words at daycare, so I thought we would get a little something to help hone their skills at home.
We will also be getting them practical things like clothing, shoes, art supplies and of course stocking stuffers.

Now the question is, do we let Santa be the hero?? Or do mom and dad get to take the glory for their most wanted gifts? Let me know how your family does this in the comments!
